DEMENTIA FORUM X

Dementia Forum X is a global initiative to take action on dementia. It is a day of reflections and discussions between a hundred of the world’s leading business executives, policy-makers and other stakeholders. The ambition is to facilitate high-level dialogue on the challenges that dementia related diseases pose to global society and to find ways of initiating and supporting collaboration to meet these challenges.

The next Dementia Forum X is scheduled to take place at the Royal Palace of Stockholm in May 2019. Like the two previous Dementia Forum X meetings, invitees are selected from key stakeholder groups with the purpose of inspiring dialogue, promoting new ideas and increasing awareness related to dementia and the challenges it poses to societies around the world.

Dementia Forum X was organised for the first time in May 2015 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. The initiative was created by Forum For Elderly Care and Swedish Care International in collaboration with Karolinska Institutet, Swedish Dementia Centre, Stiftelsen Silviahemmet and Forte. Dementia Forum X is a day of reflections and discussions among a hundred of the world’s leading business executives, policymakers and other stakeholders.
